Welcome to Park Elementary home of the proud Panthers. My name is Teresa Gonzalez and I am a 3rd grade bilingual teacher at Edgar Park Elementary. I am a mother to 3 wonderful children. I began my career as a teacher after graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor's degree in Education. I also received my Master's degree in Reading from UTEP. I feel that teachers do so much in shaping a child's life. We teach, but most of all we inspire. I thank my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Salas, for inspiring me to reach for my dreams in becoming a teacher. I would also like to thank all the teachers at Park who have made such a difference and positive impact on my children.
My goal for this year is to nurture a rich learning environment in which every child will achieve academic success. With hard work and determination along with parents help, I believe that we can achieve this goal.
Parents, if you need to reach me, please call the school at 236-5975 to set up a conference. My conference time is from 9:45-10:30. You may also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or send me a written message through your child's agenda. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
