tell you some information about myself! My name is Angelica Torres and I
feel honored to have the opportunity to teach your child this year! I
grew up in the El Paso area with my parents and my sister, Bernadette. I
received my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree at UTEP with a
double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have a masters degree from UTEP with an emphasis in literacy
(reading/writing instruction), and a second masters from Lamar University in in school counseling.
My interests include teaching (of
course), the ocean, traveling, writing, computers, and reading. I am
married to my best friend, and awesome coach Mark Torres from Pebble Hills High School,
we have the most adorable, future football player son Joseph Paul and a beautiful baby boy Andrew. I've
been blessed with two loving stepchildren, Jennessey Jordan and Marcus

opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
